yeah, so what started out as a semi-promising show (as much as you can make 'ha - come laugh at girls who wanna marry the money' sound unpathetic anyway) turned out to be just a boring sell-out after only a few episodes, thanks to one seriously bland guy and an extraordinarily shoddy editing job (someone should really get fired for this). the editing is what makes me feel like i've been manipulated. we'll see tonight. and if the final twist is targeted towards us, the audience, fox will have some real explaining to do. a joke is funny if we trust the guy telling it; even if it's on us. but i don't trust this show right now. fox may well have thought itself way too smart for its own good. the final episode airs tonight (or so fox says). i will be taping.
i really hope the joke's not on us or else fox will have a hard time getting its audience back (although, to be fair, fox has never been a pulitzer prize-winning network (none of the major ones are nowadays).
