"'CAUSE IT'S A FREE FOR ALL, FREE FOR ALL, FREE FOR ALL..."

well, Paradise Hotel was a bust, uh?
i never watch these shows but i gave myself the right to watch one reality premiere (they're really scraping the bottom of the barrel now) this season.

of course there was gonna be no nudity it's a network show. you're gonna have all the catfights you want. actually, one of the things i was impressed with was the guys. i actually like two or three. but this doesn't mean i'll watch it too much 'cause tonight's episode pretty much showed what the producers were interested in - fake reality. like all of the reality fad they edit and cut towards specific stereotypes so you the viewer 'can identify' with them right away. yeah. we're too stupid to think for ourselves so therefore, create a little trumped-up drama for us, will ya?

i just wish we'd have more reality tv. but not this crappy shit we're being fed under the banner of reality. i guess producers are more interested in paying non-actors than sag card holders now.

this borders on the sag line, though. these are not paid actors, but the shows are cut around to the producers whims and fancy to give us some quick cardboard characters - boring ones, at best - and thus create this fictional reality. sure, the things that happen on the show happened out there; but too much of it is just the producers choosing which angle to cover this week and how to make it more salacious (much like Meet my Folks is cut, btw) and then give us half of the show in previews right before a fucking commercial break (so you get to see the show twice in one sitting!).

boring stuff.

so, i'll leave you with that.

ps. my throat is still sore.
anyone has any suggestions for me?
i'm drinking water like crazy and taking lozenges.
